遍歴の騎士、ベディヴィエールが辿り着いた旅の果て―。 そこは西暦1273年のエルサレム。 かつての祈りの地は砂の大地と化し、民は住処を追われ三つの勢力が対峙する不毛の地。 聖都、そして獅子王の命めいを守るべく集結した「円卓の騎士」。 領地ごとこの地に召喚されるも、静かに現状打破を狙う「太陽王・オジマンディアス」。 土地を奪われた民を守り、叛逆の機会を待つ「山の民」。 己の成すべきことを果たすため、獅子王が統治する“聖都”を目指すベディヴィエールの前に現れたのは 人理を修復すべくこの地を訪れた人類最後のマスター・藤丸立香とデミ・サーヴァントのマシュ・キリエライトであった。 ベディヴィエールは藤丸たちと共に、最後の探索へと歩み出す。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios.
