工藤の長編3作目「遠いところ」は、沖縄の若年層の実態を描いた物語。沖縄の子供の困窮した状況、DV、シングルマザーの様子を追ったルポルタージュに工藤が自身の生い立ちを重ね合わせたことから企画が生まれ、独自に取材を重ね全編沖縄で撮影した。。An experimental nonfiction portrait of the Church of Satan, a worldwide, half-century old religion dedicated to the celebration of carnality and individualism that takes Satan as its central figure. The film explores Satanists as they exist today, portraying their everyday lives and the magical rituals they engage in.。
