在上一集后，女主角Stella离开阿拉斯加最北小镇巴罗（Barrow），前往洛杉矶，并告诉世人那里发生的恐怖事件。她的旅行引起了当地温暖气候下的女吸血鬼们的愤怒，Stella从此得知可能有一种办法可以救活被杀死的丈夫Eben。。在电影中，男主角为了拯救濒死爱人，周旋于日军与警察之间，但却几乎没有机会和深陷于停尸房中、生死未卜的女主角正面对戏。二人仅有的几场对手戏也都是匆匆忙忙、旋即分别，只是在电影的最后，男女主角才得到了互诉衷肠的机会，那么男主能不能把握住这最后的机会，拯救女主角于水火之中呢？。Five young people wake up dead.
